Kathmandu :  Two Nepali students have died in a bus accident that occurred on Tuesday evening in Japan.

The accident took place in Sendai, Japan, where the bus carrying the passengers crashed. Navaraj Tamang and Yuvaraj Thapa lost their lives in the accident. Thapa hailed from Senmon Gakko, while Tamang was studying in Nihonkai Gakko, as reported by Japanese media.

The bus, which was heading towards Iwate from Sendai, encountered a malfunction and was halted for inspection at Tohoku Expressway. Unfortunately, a truck collided with the bus from behind, resulting in the accident.

There were a total of 40 people onboard the bus, including the driver and crew members. Among them, three individuals, including two Nepalis, have lost their lives.
