kathmandu : Today (Thursday) in the Nepali market, the price of gold has set a new record. The continuous rise in the price of gold has reached its highest point today.Previously, on Chaitra 22, 2079 BS (April 5, 2023), gold had traded at its highest price until now. On that day, gold had traded at NPR 111,000 per tola.Today, the price of gold has reached NPR 111,800 per tola, which is a rise of NPR 800 from the previous record.
In the previous day’s trading, which was on Wednesday, the price of gold had risen by NPR 1,800 per tola in Tola Bazaar.According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, today’s trading has seen gold traded at NPR 111,800 per tola and Tejabi gold traded at NPR 111,250 per tola.
On Wednesday, the price of gold was trading at Rs. 1,10,000 per tola and the price of platinum was trading at Rs. 1,10,050 per tola. On the same day, the price of silver was not mentioned.
On Thursday, the price of silver increased to Rs. 1,445 per tola. And on Friday, the price of silver increased by Rs. 20 per tola compared to Wednesday, trading at Rs. 1,425 per tola.
As for international markets, the price of gold was trading at $2,450 per ounce on Tuesday.
