kathmandu : The International Cricket Council (ICC) has granted Nepal the rights to host the qualifying stage of the T20 World Cup in June 2024, which will be organized by the United States and the West Indies.
The responsibility for organizing the Asia regional qualifying competition for the T20 World Cup has been given to Nepal by the ICC. This information was provided by Durgaraj Pathak, the Acting Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), who stated that Nepal has been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing the tournament.
In addition to Nepal, the Asian region’s T20 World Cup qualifying competition will involve the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Hong Kong, Bahrain, and Singapore. The remaining two nations will progress through the qualifying stage as well.
