Sara Ali Khan has been cast in Aanand L Rai’s film Nakhrewali, following the success of Atrangi Re.
Aanand L Rai’s directorial debut, Atrangi Re, starring Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush, and Akshay Kumar, has ended production. Sara and Aanand L Rai collaborated for the first time on this film.
Sara has been picked on by Rai’s production business Colour Yellow Production for their next effort, Nakhrewali, following the completion of the film.
Sunny Kaushal, Vicky Kaushal’s brother, is rumored to portray the male lead in the film. The film, according to sources, would tell the story of a kid who enjoys dressing up as a girl. With the Shubh Mangal Saavdhan franchise, the filmmaker had already tackled taboo subjects like erectile dysfunction and gay love on screen.
Rahul Shanklya will helm the picture, which will begin production at the end of this year. The film’s official announcement will be made soon. Sara is currently preparing for Ashwatthama opposite Vicky Kaushal and will soon be seen in Atrangi Re.
