When is Peaky Blinders Season 6 releasing on Netflix?

Season 6 of Peaky Blinders will premiere on February 27, 2022. In the UK, the show will air on BBC One and be available on iPlayer, while outside of the UK, it will be available on Netflix. The BBC series’ previous five seasons each included six episodes, so the concluding chapter is expected to follow suit. ‘Black Day’ will be the title of the first episode of Season 6 of Peaky Blinders. Peaky Blinders season 6 episode 1 airs on BBC One and Netflix on Sunday, February 27 at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT/ 9 p.m. GMT.

The official synopsis for Season 6 Episode 1 of Peaky Blinders says,

“Tommy sets off to North America, where the end of Prohibition brings new opportunities. But he faces new danger from an old adversary who is finally making his move.”

The series follows the Shelby crime family as they try to build a name for themselves in the years following World War I. Murphy’s Thomas Shelby leads a star-studded cast that includes the late Helen McCrory as his Aunt Polly and Paul Anderson as his older brother Arthur. Sam Neill, Tom Hardy, Adrien Brody, and Anya Taylor-Joy have all appeared in the series.

Season five of the show aired in 2019, and production on the show’s sixth and final season was initially scheduled to begin in March 2020, but was postponed owing to the COVID-19 epidemic. The filming, on the other hand, started in January of this year. According to Variety, Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders, spoke about the highly anticipated 6th and last season as well as the feature film at the BFI London Film Festival. Knight stated that the film will begin production after Season 6, and that it will be the final season of Peaky Blinders.
