Kathmandu :  Nepal has won the gold medal today in the South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship. The Nepali U-19 team secured the gold in the competition held in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India. The team coach, Sanjay Aryal, provided the information.

In the tournament, Nepal emerged victorious with the highest points in the round-robin league, surpassing four participating nations. Nepal defeated Bangladesh 3-0 and Maldives 3-2. Nepal also defeated Sri Lanka 3-1. Sujal Gadhal, Vishwa Baniya, Vishal Gole, and Siddharth Tamang represented Nepal in the competition.
