At the age of 82, veteran politician Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away.

One of the pillars of Indian politics has received accolades from politicians from all parties as well as from public figures and members of the general public. Yadav had been ill for a few years and had been in and out of hospitals frequently.
Mulayam Singh Yadav was a sitting member of parliament, but he wasn’t really involved and was hardly ever seen at open meetings.
