kathmandu : Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha have gotten engaged.They got engaged in Delhi on Saturday. Parineeti shared pictures of the engagement on Instagram, captioning it as “I said yes.”
The engagement ceremony was attended by artists and politicians. Priyanka Chopra, who came from the United States, was present at Parineeti’s engagement.Raghav is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha representing the Aam Aadmi Party. While studying in England, he became acquainted with Parineeti.
Parineeti studied at the University of Manchester while Raghav attended the London School of Economics, specializing in chartered accountancy.
Last year, the Punjab government appointed Raghav as an advisor. Opposition parties criticized him for working in other fields.
