Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship status has been updated to engaged.
A toast to actress Megan Fox and singer Machine Gun Kelly is in order (though, you might want to bring your own beverage). The couple has confirmed their engagement on social media. Machine gun Kelly swore he’d never fall in love—until Megan Fox appeared, and he couldn’t get enough of her. In fact, the musician is so smitten with Fox that he decided to propose to her. Megan broke the news on Instagram the next day, after MGK proposed on January 11th.
“He asked me to marry him a year and a half later, after we had traveled through hell together and smiled more than I ever believed possible,” she wrote. “And I replied yes, as I had in every lifetime before this one, and as I shall in every lifetime after this one….and then we drank each other’s blood.”
“We sat under this banyan tree in July of 2020,” she said, along with a video of the sweet proposal. “We requested magic… We had no idea how much suffering we’d be in together in such a short, frantic period of time. We were unaware of the work and sacrifices that the partnership would entail, but we were intoxicated by the love. And then there’s the karma.”
MGK shared a close-up shot of her custom engagement ring, which includes a diamond and an emerald stone. “Yes, in this life and every life,” he said. The combination of their birth stones, according to the artist, represents “two sides of the same soul forming the hidden heart that is our love.”
The couple’s relationship has been described as “passion-fueled.” The couple has become a tabloid favorite thanks to their public vows of love and shows of devotion, which are fueled, of course, by the couple’s occasionally odd tributes to one another.
The artist told Howard Stern in September 2020 about meeting Fox on the shoot of the film “Midnight in the Switchgrass.” Kelly explained, “I didn’t know what that meant until me and her made eye contact.” “That’s when I said to myself, ‘Whoa.'” Machine Gun Kelly, who has a daughter from a prior relationship, would be marrying for the first time.
