Kathmandu : Liverpool has secured an easy victory in the English Premier League. Defeating the home team Leicester City with a scoreline of 3-0, Liverpool not only maintains its position in the top four but also strengthens its chances.
In the match held at King Power Stadium in Leicester on Monday night, Liverpool’s comfortable win has further solidified their fourth-place position. In the 33rd minute of the game, Liverpool took the lead with Curtis Jones’ goal, and just three minutes later, in the 36th minute, Jones assisted Mohamed Salah for the second goal, giving Liverpool a 2-0 lead in the first half.
In the 71st minute of the second half, Trent Alexander-Arnold scored another goal, securing a comfortable 3-0 lead for Liverpool. Both teams failed to score any further goals, and ultimately, the game ended with a 3-0 victory for Liverpool.
With this win, Liverpool has amassed 65 points from 36 games, while Leicester City, with 30 points from 36 games, remains limited to the 19th position. Following this victory, Liverpool, previously in the fifth position, has comfortably climbed to the fourth spot in the league table.
