In a high-scoring thriller at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the LSG team pulled off a stunning victory against RCB by a single wicket.

Despite losing a few quick wickets, LSG remained in contention thanks to some strong batting from Badoni and Unadkat. The game went down to the wire, with LSG needing seven runs to win off the final over. Unadkat kept his composure and hit a six off the last ball to secure a thrilling victory for his team.
Earlier, RCB had set a massive target of 212/2, thanks to a brilliant century from Faf du Plessis and a quickfire half-century from Glenn Maxwell. Faf smashed an unbeaten 108 off just 53 balls, hitting 11 sixes in the process. Maxwell played a crucial supporting role, scoring 59 off 29 balls and putting on a 115-run partnership with Faf.
Despite losing Kohli in the middle overs, RCB maintained a high run-rate, owing to Faf’s incredible hitting. LSG’s bowlers struggled to contain him, with Bishnoi conceding three sixes in one over. However, in the end, RCB’s total proved to be insufficient, as LSG pulled off a remarkable run-chase.
This victory will give LSG much-needed confidence going forward in the tournament, while RCB will be disappointed despite putting up a huge score. The game was a testament to the spirit of the IPL, where anything is possible, and every team fights till the end.
