Pyuthan : In Pyuthan, a forest fire in a settlement near the Dhanwang-based Ward No. 2 of Swargadwari Municipality has resulted in the destruction of 11 houses. According to the District Police Office, on Sunday evening, a fire broke out in the community forest close to Dhaireni, causing the destruction of 11 houses and 8 huts in the nearby human settlement.
There is no information available yet regarding the extent of human casualties or damages caused by the fire in the community forest. However, local authorities, along with the support of Nepal Police and the Nepali Army, are actively involved in controlling the fire.
