Kathmandu: The government has formed a task force to address the problems seen in the cooperative sector. According to spokesperson Rekha Sharma, the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday at Singha Durbar announced the formation of the Cooperative Sector Improvement Task Force 2080.

The meeting also decided to amend the rules and regulations related to the process of bringing two mobile phones from abroad. The decision was made to promote the Secretary of Nepal Agriculture and Forestry Service Coordination, Rewati Raman Poudel.

The meeting also approved the Nepal Trade Integration Strategy 2080. Similarly, the spokesperson informed that the meeting decided to appoint officials to acquire land for the construction of Dhalkebar-Vainganga 132 KV transmission line and start preliminary actions. They also decided to appoint officials to acquire land for the Kohalpur distribution center and start preliminary actions.

The meeting also decided to promote some under-secretaries. The spokesperson also informed that the decision was made to approve the participation of the Vice Chairman of the Planning Commission in the upcoming meeting of the International Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank.
