Late on Tuesday, Elon Musk released the fragrance “Burnt Hair,” which has already sold over 10,000 bottles in a short period of time.

Elon Musk tweeted on Tuesday that the fragrance was “the essence of disgusting desire” before changing his Twitter bio to “Perfume Salesman.” He referred to Burnt Hair as the “finest smell on Earth” in a more serious manner.
The Boring Company lists the perfume it sells for one hundred dollars, including tax and domestic shipping. The website states that it will ship in Q1 2023.

On the website, there is a picture of a red glass bottle with the words “burnt hair” and “singed” printed in bold type and cursive silver letters, respectively.
“Just like leaning over a candle at the dinner table, but without all the hard effort,” is how the aroma is described. Wearing the perfume is said to make you “Stand Out in a Crowd! As you move through the airport, attract attention.

Musk tweeted on Tuesday that “with a name like mine, getting into the fragrance business was inevitable—why did I even resist it for so long!?” in reference to a pun on his last name.
Additionally, he said that the scent is an omnigender good that you can even buy with Dogecoin.
