After a year in which he was cast loose by Manchester United and demoted to Portugal’s bench, Ronaldo is headed to the Gulf.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly agreed to a deal with Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr worth more than 200 million euros on Friday, according to the club. The 37-year-old signed a contract that would keep him on the team until June 2025.
The former player for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, Cristiano remarked, “I can’t wait to learn about a new football league in a foreign country.” On the Al Nassr Twitter page, a picture of the Portuguese star was posted carrying a blue and yellow shirt with his favorite number seven printed on it.

He continued, “The idea that Al Nassr runs under is really motivating, and I am thrilled to join my teammates so that together we can assist the team achieve greater success.
Al Nassr won the most recent Saudi Arabian League championship in 2019.
