Kartik Aaryan, who is currently filming his new film Freddy, will soon rejoin the cast of BB 2 to resume production.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has remained one of the most eagerly anticipated sequels in Bollywood (BB 2). The film was announced in 2019, and production began in October of that year, but due to the pandemic, the film was delayed several times. The film will finally enter its final stretch this month, and that Kartik Aaryan will be joining the cast soon.
He’ll take a break from his new film, Freddy, and begin filming for his remaining Bhool Bhuliyaa 2 roles. According to reports, two sets are being built in the city for the project, and in addition to Kartik, other actors such as Tabu and Kiara Advani will be involved. Kartik Aaryan, who has a hectic schedule, will complete the film by September and then move on to other projects.
Amar Upadhyay and Rajpal Yadav also appear in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. It is a sequel to director Priyadarshan’s 2007 film, which starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. Anees Bazmee is directing the sequel.
In March, Kartik Aaryan was filming BB 2 when he tested positive for COVID-19. He quarantined himself after that, and before he could resume shooting, the country was hit by the second wave, and the film had to be halted once more, along with several other projects.
In the meantime, Kartik had begun filming for Freddy, a romantic thriller directed by Shashanka Ghosh. The actor has kept his new look a secret and has said nothing about the film. The actor returned to the set after a five-month hiatus. He is also working on Hansal Mehta’s Captain India and a musical love story with Sajid Nadiadwala.
