Akshay Kumar has released a trailer for Filhaal 2: Mohabbat, his upcoming song video starring Nupur Sanon. The new song is a follow-up to B Praak’s smash Filhall from 2020.
Filhaal, the song starring Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon, continues to gain popularity. And such is the excitement that the teaser for the sequel, Filhaal 2, has already gone viral.
In a tweet, Akshay Kumar shared the teaser, writing, “Filhaal se Mohabbat karne ka samay kareeb aa raha hai. The song #Filhaal2Mohabbat will be released on July 6th, but in the meantime, enjoy the teaser.”
In just three hours since its debut today, it has racked up 7.5 million views across platforms. This time around, it also reunites the original lineup, with B Praak on the mic and Jaani writing the lyrics. Ammy Virk, a Punjabi actor and singer, is the newest addition.
Filhaal 1 was a heartbreaking story about two ex-lovers who reunite in unexpected circumstances and yearn to remain with each other. They, on the other hand, are unable to do so. Filhaal 2 is set to send viewers on another emotional roller coaster, with Kumar and Sanon’s sizzling chemistry leading the way and B Praak’s poignant vocals rounding off the package.
When Filhaal 1 was first released, it broke a lot of records. It was ranked #4 on the list of the Top 10 World’s Fastest Music Videos to Reach 300 Million Views on YouTube in July 2020. It was also the first Indian music video to reach 200 million views in under 24 hours.
